Video: The Political Abyss

Please watch this video at least three times, and tell me we’re not already there. The year was 1975, when evidently, we had:
1. At least a few, real journalists, and
2. At least a few, sane Democrats…
And just 48 years later, we find out that ultimately, Church, his committee, and by extension we, the people failed, for no government agency “operates within the law and under proper supervision…” and it’s tough to imagine the current crop of congress critters doing any better, even if they were serious, even if they had a super majority. #BoughtBribedBlackmailed
Our immediate options therefore, are:
1. Remain divided and fall fully into the abyss together.
2. Become more unified (see: The “Damar Hamlin” Effect), and maybe trammel the train to tyranny just a bit.
Guess which option our would-be overlords prefer, and why?
